Winding down for Christmas

It’s such a funny time of year.  One minute you’re so busy you don’t know what day of the week it is! Next thing is it’s December and your thinking about winding down and spending some great quality time with family and friends.  It really is my favourite time of year.

Most of my teaching classes have finished for the year and so this is giving me some time this week to get the house ready for the ‘Christmas decorations!’  We get our tree at the weekend, excited!!

I’m finding myself thinking again about big changes for moments photography.  I hope to find time over the festive period to finally get ready for my MPA diploma and think about getting my panel of images ready for the award ceremony in March!

I’ve a few ideas for my portraits and Trash the Dress sessions that I’m dying to try out after New Year.

I’m hoping to exhibit much more at local fayre, wedding exhibitions and such like so if you know of any coming up in the new year give me a shout and I’ll hopefully be free to have a stand.

I have a few shoots left this year, one slap bang! in the middle of Christmas and New Year!! I’m so excited about that shoot, I hope it’s snowing!!! 😀

The photographs below are from a very small and beautiful wedding I photographed in November.  Neil, Kati and Harry got married at ‘Eat at the Green’ in Undy Green.  It was so special and I was truly honoured to photograph such a private time.

That’s all for now folks ;P
