Trip away and what I’ve been up to

I can’t believe yet another holiday is almost at an end.  It’s been a well needed break to catch up on some QT time with my hubbie and girls.  We headed up north to a village called Findhorn where we often go for a ‘getaway’.  The house we use is aptly called ‘The Retreat’ and lives up to it’s name.

We are currently restoring a boat up there so the girls and of course Geoff (my hubbie) got to work.  We are hoping to have it sea worthy for next summer!!

I also use Findhorn to let my creative side have time to play.  This time I wanted to work on a few images for my Personal Project which will hopefully be exhibited sometime next year.  The girls were the models and after posing for a couple of my images they wanted to make their own images for Halloween!! So we came up with these

Our poor pooch – Bruno – didn’t quite know what to make of all this!! and had a rather bemused look on his face!!

What a lovely time we had up there and I can’t wait!! to go back again 😀

This though is one of my favourite images from the fun images that we did that day.

Since we got back it’s been hectic to say the least! and looks set to continue for the next few weeks.  But my batteries are recharged!! and should last me until the next holidays 😀
